Moxi revitalizes classic roller skates and stands for putting women on wheels. One way Moxi does this is by teaching women how to buy, maintain and use their wheely fun equipment, like traditional skate shops are too busy to do. Amy came to the Moxi Shop for exactly that, roller skates. However, she is a multidisciplinary gal with a lot of personality and brings a brand new bag of tricks to all of Moxi Team’s skate demos and clinics!

Amy began skateboarding at the age of 12 and with the support of her parents and industry, became a professional skateboarder at a very young age. She has been in every single X Games since women have competed for the last 8 years and has stood on the X Games Winner Podium 3 times as a medal winner.

She is a graduate of Orange Coast College and now works at Huntington Beach Hospital as an X-Ray and CT Scan technician where she regularly takes care of broken skateboarders in the emergency room.

Her hobbies are surfing, building motorcycles, moped riding and rexing at the roller rink. Her favorite roller skate spot is Skate Depot in Cerritos, CA where she learns to couple skate and dance with the best rhythm skaters Southern California has to offer.

She still competes as a professional skateboarder while holding a full time job and Moxi is overjoyed to have her a part of our team, showcasing what women’s skateboarding has to offer beside our ramp skating rollers at all of our public demonstrations and skate clinics.

She is currently sponsored by Meow Skateboards, Bones Wheels, Rock Star Bearings, Pride Socks and Fydelity Stereobags.
